Toilet overflow into finished basement

These homeowners experienced a toilet back up and heavy overflow into their finished basement. The area of the home is not used as much as the other living spaces so a little time passed before the overflow was discovered. The drywall was affected in some areas and needed to be removed along with the affected baseboard,carpet and pad. Due to the water being contaminated and coming from the toilet all materials that were affected needed to be removed.Drying equipment was set up to dry out any excess moisture that was present.The remaining structure tile flooring,wall studs and concrete flooring was cleaned and treated with antimicrobial chemicals.
